Tailor made holidays – How does it work?
At Go TailorMade we offer ‘tailor made’ holidays. But what is a tailor made holiday and how does it work?
Firstly, we define a tailor made holiday as a unique holiday designer specifically for you and your requirements. On our website we show a range of different holiday suggestions and itineraries. These are examples to show you what is possible and some of the things that you can do on your holiday. You can stick to an exact route shown, modify it slightly or take a ‘pick and mix’ approach and just choose the parts you want to see and the places you want to stay at.
Unlike many other tailor made holiday companies, we offer you a truly flexible option. There are no ‘modules’ to put together or set patterns that you have to follow. This way of arranging your holiday is only possible due to our highly experienced and well travelled consultants. They know the countries and what is and is not possible. They talk to you, listen to you and give you their suggestions. It is an ongoing process until you are entirely happy with your holiday plans. As well as your preferences, our consultants take careful consideration of your budget. You could be pleasantly surprised as a tailor made holiday is sometimes not as costly as you may think, especially when compared to a package deal. Our aim is to offer an exceptional service and great value for money.
If you have never booked a tailor made holiday before then the prospect might seem a bit daunting. A quick chat with any of our travel consultants will soon put you at ease. It is important to remember that the booking process is not the same as a traditional package holiday. Once you and your travel consultant have decided on the perfect itinerary we need to take a deposit and then we get to work behind the scenes, contacting all of our local suppliers and actually putting your holiday together. Depending on destinations and hotel, guide and flight availability this may take anything from 24 hours to a week. Once everything is confirmed we will send you a confirmation with all the details of your holiday, including hotels, transfers, tours and excursions included. The balance of your holiday is usually due 10 weeks before your departure and we will send out vouchers and flight information 2-3 weeks before you leave.
